Latest news: preview of Brodick Castle Walled Garden Design, Scotland, December 2018
We are excited to present this preview of our design for the restoration of the historic walled garden at Brodick Castle on the Isle of Arran in Scotland. Our design for Brodick Castle harnesses the warm micro-climate of Scotland’s west coast, which provides a haven for exotic. Phase I of the project will see the pathways, borders and edging plans redeveloped and restored. The lawns will be planted with large topiary columns and sculptures. The historic sundial space at the bottom of the garden has been designed with a sun-ray themed red sandstone paving and new sandstone walling. This space will be used for ceremonies and events. Sympathy with the extraordinary horticultural history of the castle underpins our approach to this design. See more images and plans.
